Documentation
TechSuite
TechSuite has two parts: the Windows app your technicians run on the computer they're repairing, and the Online Dashboard where reports, settings and your team live.
- Windows App: getting started, procedures and tools, Custom Apps, reports, offline mode and the command line
- Online Dashboard: On the Bench, reports and report layouts, branding, AI summaries, users and two-factor authentication
- Integrations: Syncro, RepairShopr, Autotask, CommitCRM, PC Repair Tracker, webhooks and the Malwarebytes Toolset
Quick start: log in to the Online Dashboard, add your logo under Branding, download TechSuite from Downloads, and run a procedure such as Basic Diagnostics on the computer you're repairing. The report is in the dashboard when it's done.
Lantern
Lantern is the small app your shop installs on your customers' computers. It watches for the problems that end in a repair and puts a Request Service button in your shop's name in front of them.
- Getting started: setting up your shop, your dashboard, and what your customer sees
- Installing Lantern: your installers and install link, Windows and Mac, and removing Lantern from a computer
- Checks, pop-ups and policies: the seven checks, when your customer is told, and your tray menu
- Devices, requests and groups: your customers' computers and the requests they send
- Settings and billing: branding, request and digest emails, webhooks and Slack, your team, and your plan
